We’re hiring a BIM Technician to support our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The BIM Technician to lead and oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across all design, coordination, and construction phases of our projects.
Salary range: $58K-$65K. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain the company’s BIM standards, workflows, templates, and protocols.
+ Ensure Corporate & Branch facility documentation uphold the EquipmentShare design, engineering, and BIM graphic standards
+ Aid the expanding Architecture + Engineering team with project documentation.
+ Utilize Revit to create models of as-built existing structures, new construction, and renovation type projects
+ Continually improve and create in-house BIM standards, templates, and Revit families
+ Facilitate model coordination, clash detection, and resolution using tools like Revit and/or Navisworks.
+ Participate in occasional site visits to perform reality capture duties
+ Experience with SLAM or terrestrial scanning equipment is preferred. Training will be provided
+ Modelling of reality captures for renovation construction projects
+ Execute multiple projects under various deadlines

Skills & Qualifications
+ Demonstrated working experience with creating custom built Revit family types (i.e. furniture files, casework files, and other requested elements).
+ Able to work with a high degree of independence and capable of taking the lead on initiatives with limited supervision is a must
+ Experience with building documentation, such as technical drawings and construction documents, detailing, labelling, specifications, etc.
+ Understanding of project delivery procedures
+ Demonstrated project management skills for multiple concurrent efforts
+ Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
+ Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated time management skills
+ Proficiency in the following software is REQUIRED:
+ Revit, AutoCAD, ReCap (Autodesk AEC Suite)
+ Bluebeam
+ Google Apps + Microsoft Office
+ Willingness to learn additional software as the need arises
+ Familiarity with the following ::
+ 3d scanning and point cloud modeling
Education and Experience
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field
+ At least 4+ years experience as a BIM technician preferred
+ Specifically, at least 2+ years experience working with and supporting a commercial engineering design team. (Civil, Structural, M/E/P)
Physical Requirements
+ Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
+ Traveling up to 30% to periodically visit project sites and our corporate office in Columbia, Mo. is required.
