MCW is seeking a self-motivated BIM Manager to join our Winnipeg office. This role is integral to the success of our projects, involving the development, coordination, and oversight of BIM models and project documentation for mechanical and electrical engineering systems in a wide range of buildings, including educational, institutional, recreational, multi-family residential, commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

Position: BIM Manager
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba (On-Site)
Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position include but not are limited to the following:
Lead the development and management of mechanical and electrical BIM models from concept through construction. Oversee project BIM delivery in collaboration with design and production teams. Establish and maintain BIM standards, processes, templates, and quality control procedures. Perform regular quality checks and audits to ensure model accuracy and consistency. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and integration issues. Provide training, mentorship, and support on BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD) and workflows. Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, improving efficiency and quality. Stay current with emerging BIM technologies and industry trends. Support the production of high-quality construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD. Support national technological advancement and standards across offices within the MCW Group of Companies.
Qualifications, Experience and Education:
Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM management and design coordination within a consulting or construction environment. Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; understanding of Revit API and customization tools is an asset. Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems design and documentation. Experience managing production teams and coordinating multidisciplinary models.
