+ Regularly owns and completes scope on complex projects across digital and structural engineering + Perform parametric and generative designs on a project needs basis + Guide and train team members from the structural team to build skills through completing the project work + Work with structures digital leadership to develop key custom structural engineering tools as prioritized by business and project needs + Focus on sprint development, balancing need for quick solutions + Maintain, improve and further develop existing tools + Contribute to strategic R&D initiatives such as development of AI based tools to support engineering design and quality control + Over 5 years of experience working in design and delivery of structural engineering projects for buildings. + Experience with common structural design platforms such as SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE. + Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Python, VBA (Excel), and CSI software APIs. + Basic working knowledge with common AI models and machine learning. + Willingness to learn additional programming languages and software development platforms. + Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities to meet deadlines. + Commitment to regularly enhancing technical and professional skills. + Self-motivated with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, creative environment. + Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, and very organized. Value Add: + Prior knowledge of Grasshopper/Rhino. + Prior experience with GUI development is an asset. + Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platforms. + Experience with Revit API or Dynamo. + Web development skills including back-end and/or front-end.
