Job Description
We are looking for a BIM Coordinator for a plumbing contractor in the Brookfield area. The BIM Coordinator develops and maintains BIM work and provides technical and analytical support to the BIM team by overseeing and supporting Virtual Design and Construction approaches for planning, coordination, problem-solving, and integration throughout all phases of projects and potential projects.
ResponsibilitiesImplement BIM processes for various uses in the company, including cost estimating, planning, and integrated project delivery.Coordinate with project teams and operations managers to utilize BIM technologies to enhance project plans.Contribute to marketing materials and business development plans.Develop Construction Process Plan Drawings for internal and external coordination and communication.Assist in quality control to ensure completeness and adherence to company standards for all shop drawings produced.Participate in project work, including modeling and detailing.Collaborate with self-perform groups to explore and implement strategies for creating efficiencies using BIM.Work with Safety and Quality Departments to enhance standard operating procedures with BIM-based technologies.Resolve BIM design issues.Essential SkillsProficiency in plumbing, BIM, and Revit.Experience in drafting for commercial settings.At least 1 year of experience in a BIM Coordinator role.At least 6 months of experience within a commercial plumbing setting.Work Environment
The position is primarily based in an office in Brookfield, WI, with minimal job site visits
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $30.00/hr.
