Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative BIM Coordinator to join our team at a leading plumbing contractor in the Brookfield area. This role is pivotal in driving our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) initiatives, supporting project planning, coordination, and execution through advanced BIM methodologies. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving construction workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of BIM processes across multiple project phases, including cost estimation, planning, and integrated project delivery (IPD).Collaborate with project teams and operations managers to integrateBIM technologiesinto project planning and execution.Supportbusiness developmentefforts by contributing to marketing materials and visual project presentations.Create and maintainConstruction Process Plan Drawingsto facilitate clear communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.Conductquality control reviewsto ensure all shop drawings meet company standards and project requirements.Participate in hands-on project work, including3D modeling and detailingof plumbing systems.Work closely with self-perform teams to identify and implementefficiency improvementsthrough BIM strategies.Partner with Safety and Quality departments to enhancestandard operating proceduresusing BIM-based tools.Troubleshoot and resolve design coordination issues, ensuring seamless integration across disciplines.Qualifications:
Proficiency in Revit, BIM software, and plumbing systems.Experience in commercial drafting and construction documentation.Minimum1 year of experience in a BIM Coordinator role.At least6 months of experience in a commercial plumbing environment.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.Work Environment:
This is a primarily office-based role located in Brookfield, WI, with occasional visits to job sites as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $30.00/hr.
