Billing Specialist

Shift: Remote position open to candidates residing in PA, NJ, or DE

Earn up to $18/hr depending on experience.

 

Position Details

 

The Billing Specialist is responsible for the daily activities relating to ensuring the prompt and accurate entry and billing of the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Service line, along with other ancillary billings that are performed by the team. This position will also manage denials and re-billing tasks as well as tracking reason’s for Open AR documenting claim status in Avatar/Excel spreadsheet’s.  Authorization entry, charge entry task variance review and managing claim denials are some of key components relating to successfully maintaining this position.  Ensures that information is received and entered within established timeframes, allowing for no disruptions to the revenue cycle. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assure weekly and monthly billing duties are completed including client registration, authorization entry and management and charge entry Assure all Billing is done within regulations and in compliance with Federal, State laws and company policy. Working Accounts Receivables and any denials  Must be able to analyze and uncover reason's claims are denying and be able to fix and identify issues and report to management accurately and timely.  Maintaining both paper records as well as electronic files Must be able to meet deadlines and be extremely detail oriented.
