Description We are looking for an experienced Billing Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This long-term contract position requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing hospice billing processes while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, expertise in healthcare billing systems, and a deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay procedures. Responsibilities: • Oversee accurate and compliant hospice billing operations in alignment with state and federal regulations. • Manage insurance verification processes to ensure correct coverage and claims handling. • Reconcile revenue and monitor collections for private pay accounts. • Demonstrate expertise in hospice billing software to optimize workflow efficiency. • Execute month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Provide leadership and guidance to the billing team, fostering collaboration and productivity. • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding billing issues and resolutions. • Stay updated on Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance. • Implement strategies to improve billing processes and reduce errors. Requirements • Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail. • Proven expertise in hospice billing practices and healthcare billing systems. • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay billing procedures. • Proficiency in electronic billing and insurance claim submissions. • Excellent leadership and communication skills. • Ability to manage complex calculations and reconcile financial data. • Familiarity with medical collections and patient billing processes. • Experience working within a provider network or hospital billing environment.
