Description We are looking for an experienced Billing Supervisor/Manager to oversee and optimize billing operations for our organization in Columbus, Ohio. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that requires a strong background in accounting systems, financial services, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset and hands-on expertise to ensure accuracy and compliance in all billing processes.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise the day-to-day billing operations to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Implement and oversee accounting software systems, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
• Develop and monitor processes for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to optimize cash flow.
• Conduct auditing activities to ensure the integrity of financial data and adherence to regulations.
• Utilize ERP systems to analyze and report on billing metrics and operational performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline billing workflows and improve efficiency.
• Provide leadership and training to billing team members to enhance their skillsets and productivity.
• Administer financial tools such as Concur and CRM systems to support billing operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing billing systems and procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in a billing supervisory or managerial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools, including Great Plains Solomon.
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems to support financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and auditing processes.
• Hands-on experience with financial tools such as Concur and ADP.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage billing challenges.
