**Billing Specialist II – Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates Clinic – Full-Time, Days** **_Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together_** **Work location** : 8160 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75231 **Work hours** : Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p **Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates Clinic Highlights:**
+ For more than 50 years, Gynecological and Obstetrical Associates has been providing quality women’s healthcare services.
+ Our team of board-certified doctors and office staff strive to provide compassionate and quality care while being responsive and efficient.
+ Our services include providing both low risk and high-risk obstetrical care.
+ We provide a full range of surgical services, including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and endometrial ablation techniques.
**Here’s What You Need**
+ **High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)**
+ **2 Years Medical Billing Experience in a Health Care Environment (required)**
+ **OB/GYN experience (preferred)**
+ **Bilingual in English / Spanish (preferred)**
+ Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
+ Demonstrate effective customer service and communication skills
+ Proficient computer skills
+ Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
**What You Will Do**
+ Delivers care to patients utilizing the Billing Specialist II process
+ Coordinate copies of medical documentation with physician charges to support billing to third-party payers.
+ File and enter billing for patients into system and analyzes patient accounts to ensure billing is accurate.
+ Resolve routine patient billing inquiries and problems, handling follow-up questions from patients, resolving discrepancies or errors.
+ Review medical coding as necessary and enters patient charges into billing applications.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
