Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused Billing Specialist to manage client billing operations in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will handle the entire billing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies while maintaining strong communication with internal teams. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements and support financial operations through cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities: • Manage the complete client billing process, from initial setup to final invoice issuance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines. • Review, edit, and finalize pre-bills based on internal feedback, ensuring all necessary adjustments are made. • Verify supporting documentation for invoices to ensure compliance with billing policies and regulations. • Process and apply client payments accurately while complying with Trust account rules. • Maintain and update client records, ensuring all information is current and properly documented. • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up professionally to ensure timely payments in alignment with company policies. • Identify opportunities for improving billing procedures and assist in implementing streamlined processes. • Cross-train with team members and document billing workflows to enhance operational efficiency. • Compile reports and support finance-related tasks or projects as assigned. Requirements • 3 to 5 years of billing experience, preferably in a legal or meticulous services setting. • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Ability to effectively manage receivables and ensure timely client follow-ups. • Familiarity with Trust account regulations and payment processing. • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements within billing operations.
