Description We are looking for a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will oversee and manage a variety of billing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex billing systems while collaborating effectively with clients and internal teams. Responsibilities: • Manage diverse billing processes. • Prepare and submit payment applications accurately and in accordance with company standards. • Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to address billing inquiries and ensure satisfaction. • Ensure all billing documentation adheres to contract terms and deadlines. • Reconcile payments by investigating discrepancies and applying credit memos as needed. • Oversee accounts receivable collections with a focus on minimizing overdue invoices aged 60-90 days. • Escalate disputed or incorrect invoices to the appropriate personnel for resolution. Requirements • Proven experience in managing billing functions. • Strong understanding of contract compliance and documentation requirements. • Ability to investigate and resolve invoicing discrepancies efficiently. • Experience in accounts receivable collections and reducing overdue invoices. • Knowledge of sales tax application based on location and billing context. • Excellent collaboration skills to work with clients and internal teams. • High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
