As one of the most respected Specialty Infusion providers in America, we service thousands of patients nationwide through our growing network of branches and healthcare professionals.  The Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist will be capable of performing all activities related to the full cycle billing process. This includes but is not limited to, initial billing of claims to all payers, posting payments to account, doing follow up and collections on all account until resolved. Patient billing and follow up. The Billing Specialist will ensure that we are compliant with company policies and all applicable laws and regulations governing billing, collections, banking, and the security of patient information.

Responsibilities Manage billing queues daily; perform Quality Assurance to ensure accurate and timely creation of new claims; ensure submitted claims meet payer specific billing guidelines Receive batches, post, balance and archive payments and adjustments to Accounts Receivable Work Aged Trial Balance reports to ensure company collection goals are met Answer and track patient billing questions and concerns About our Line of Business Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.   Additional Job Information High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in medical billing with a working knowledge of managed care, commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement; infusion center experience, preferred Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly changing environment Working knowledge of automated billing systems Working knowledge and application of metric measurements, basic accounting practices, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding. Solid Microsoft Office skills, typing 40 wpm, and proficiency with 10-key calculator. Ability to independently obtain and interpret information. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Salary Range USD $20.00 - $22.00 / Hour
