Description We are looking for a dedicated Billing Specialist to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will manage billing operations with precision and efficiency, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and statements. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in billing processes, collections, and computerized systems, contributing to the seamless functioning of our financial operations. Responsibilities: • Prepare and issue accurate billing statements to clients in a timely manner. • Monitor and manage billing collections to ensure payments are received promptly. • Maintain and update records within computerized billing systems. • Verify billing data for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or errors. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency. • Respond to client inquiries regarding billing issues and provide solutions. • Generate detailed financial reports related to billing activities. • Assist in the implementation and optimization of billing procedures. • Ensure compliance with relevant billing regulations and company policies. Requirements • Proven experience in billing functions, including preparation and collection processes. • Familiarity with computerized billing systems and software. • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Effective communication skills to address client inquiries and collaborate with team members. • Knowledge of billing regulations and industry standards. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. **Will look at entry level w/no experience.
