Qualification:
Minimum of 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable/Billing.
Must have experience in the utilities or construction industry.
Billing experience with Southern California Edison (SCE).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Job Description:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting accurate and timely invoices in accordance with client contracts, including Southern California Edison (SCE) standards. This role works closely with project managers, field teams, and finance staff to ensure billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organized financial records.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare, review, and submit invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Ensure all billing complies with Southern California Edison (SCE) standards.Collaborate with project managers and field teams to gather billing data.Resolve discrepancies in billing data and documentation.Track and reconcile billing issues such as change orders and purchase orders.Maintain organized billing records for month-end close processes.Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding billing matters.Assist in audits and generate necessary reports.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
