Billing Specialist | Orlando, FL Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Billing Specialist to assist with pharmacy billing and data entry tasks. This role offers an opportunity to progress into Accounts Receivable and requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach. Responsibilities + Assist the Controller with pharmacy billing processes. + Perform accurate data entry related to billing. + Provide excellent customer service and support. + Communicate effectively with team members and clients. + Handle tedious tasks with professionalism and attention to detail. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. + Common sense and problem-solving abilities. + Attention to detail and reliability. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience in pharmacy or medical billing is advantageous. + Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) is beneficial. + Knowledge of Life/Health and/or Medicare Advantage is a plus. + Experience with reconciliation, month-end processes, and bookkeeping. + Bilingual capabilities are welcome, but must have a pleasant and clear voice. Work Environment This position is based in an office within a Long Term Care Pharmacy.
