Billing Specialist | Greenville The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking an entry-level Billing Specialist to join our corporate office team in Greenville. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you! Pay range: $15-$17 hour, based on experience and education. About The Sunshine House: For 50 years, The Sunshine House has provided high-quality early education and childcare for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Responsibilities: + Post and process billing, payments and returned customer payments. + Monitor, process, and update accounts receivable. + Analyze and reconcile remittance statements and ledgers. + Analyze customer account statuses, transactions, and balances to ensure accuracy. + Act as a liaison for third-party agencies to create, process, and reconcile subsidy payments. + Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Requirements + Must be at least 18 years old. + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize work effectively. + Hands-on experience working with general ledgers preferred. + Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
