Kforce has a client in Rockville, MD that is seeking a Billing Specialist. Responsibilities: * Research and resolve the highest corporate level and most complex escalated customer disputes both internal and external; Act as primary point of contact for senior leadership when responding to highly escalated or high profile customers from various sources including corporate office * Ensure quality and accuracy of invoices, all credit and approval requests, customer communication and the overall management of quality assurance in regards to the billing team * Utilize knowledge of key finance and billing operational control concepts to rapidly improve the overall customer experience, by analyzing, standardizing and streamlining business processes and internal billing controls * Serve as subject matter expert on strategic account calls and maintain ownership and drive to complete resolution in a professional and concise manner; Perform research on multi-site large-scale strategic accounts * Act as a team lead and subject matter expert for junior level billing representatives * Serve as a mentor for less experienced billing representatives * Professionally interact and engage multiple operational groups across the company and outside clients * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
