Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for a billing specialist to join our finance department. Responsibilities include: Processing invoices for assigned department managers Preparing client required documents Coordinating with assigned project managers to monitor status of receivables including posting of corrections, credit memos and write-offs Creating and maintaining projects in the accounting software including project billing terms and budgets Creating and maintaining billing tables Maintaining contact and communication with the assigned project managers Running standard reports Maintaining and organizing files Some travel may be required. The successful candidate will have: An associate’s degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, business, or related field --OR— If no degree, must have at least two (2) years of accounting experience with computerized accounting systems and billing processes The ideal candidate will have of any/all of the following: Experience with computerized financial accounting systems Overall financial management Experience with the engineering, architectural or construction services Deltek Vision software experience Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers.
