PSI is currently seeking a Billing Manager to support our Financial Management team.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities Manage the entire contracts billing process, including but not limited to the Firm Fixed Price, Time and Material and Cost-Plus Fixed Fee, and other reimbursable billingsReview and approve all invoices before submissionSupervise the Billing/Accounts Receivable staff to ensure accurate and timely workflow.Work with project managers and contract administrators to resolve any billing discrepancies or issuesEnsure all billing milestones and deadlines are metMonitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoicesDevelop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accountsCoordinate with clients and internal departments to resolve billing and payment issuesSupervise and mentor the billing and accounts receivable teamConduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunitiesFoster a collaborative and efficient work environmentGSA schedule maintenance Desired Qualifications BS (accounting environment or finance) + 8-12 years of government contractor experience or an equivalent combined of education and experienceProficiency in Deltek Costpoint strongly preferredStrong knowledge of government contract regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent leadership and team management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBilling and account reconciliation experienceProficiency with MS Excel and MS WordAbility to be a team playerWillingness to learnAble to cope with fast paced environmentAbility to work with all levels of management teamStrong organization skillsDetail oriented Company BenefitsPSI offers full-time, benefits eligible employees a competitive total compensation package that includes paid leave, and options for employer sponsored group medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D coverage, legal services, identity theft, and accident insurance.
