We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Implementation Services team at Mercer. This role will be based in Boston and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
As a Billing & Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in managing client and sub-advisor invoicing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. You will collaborate across departments to support process improvements, lead projects, mentor junior team members, and analyze data to drive strategic initiatives—all while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery. Process and support client and sub-advisor invoices, ensuring accuracy, contractual compliance, and timely paymentsCollaborate with Corporate Finance and Fund Administration on fee calculations, expense rates, and payment processingSupport regulatory compliance by assisting with key reporting requirements and adhering to industry standards and internal proceduresLead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and reduce operational risk.Assist in training and mentoring junior team members to develop their skills and knowledgeManage mid-size projects, executing deliverables aligned with strategic goals, delegating tasks, and reviewing outputs for qualityAnalyze data and identify trends to support business improvement and strategic initiativesInvestigate and resolve queries from internal and external customers promptly and professionallyDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service deliveryImplement and monitor risk controls and procedures, ensuring compliance and operational integrityWhat you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree3-5 years of experience in business operations, accounting, and/or finance Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accuratelyStrong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with internal teams and external partnersProficient Excel skills and working knowledge of MS OfficeWhat makes you stand out?
