DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business are seeking x 3 Billing Data Analysts to play a vital role within our Finance function, this is a project role looking at our Billing processes and looking at continuous improvement in this space

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n

As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:

\n\nBilling Automation Data Cleansing and Process Preparation\nReview current data cleansing processes, including Visio process flows and Excel files, to identify and document the detailed as-is data cleansing process flow, including understanding formulae, field updates & macro functions in Excel\nAttend workshops with the process owners to fill any gaps in process flows, including the formulae implemented on different fields in Excel to transform into the expected output.\nField mapping: Map the fields from the raw data input file into the standardised data template.\nThrough interviews and workshops, identify standardization and optimisation potential based on a given optimization checklist\nDevelop Macros in Excel to \"automate\" and fasten the process of data cleansing/transformation of each use case into a given standard template\nDerive data cleansing rules as per a standard format (for technical implementation), based on the data cleansing/transformation process of each use case\nBefore technical implementation: reconcile the processing in Excel using sample data to ensure that the rules are configured properly and accurately\nAfter technical implementation: reconcile the processing in the automation tool using sample data to ensure that the rules are configured properly and accurately\nSupport training the country users to create & document field mapping and pre-processing rules themselves in a defined user-friendly template\nProvide status reports for the data preparation of the use cases regularly to the Billing Automation project lead.\nReview & support Billing SOP creation.\nSupport billing process review workshops with the use case owners to assess and optimise process flows to determine \"optimisation potential\" and enhance \"automation readiness\"\nSupport implementation of new billing standards.\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nStrong written and oral communication skills\nStrong analytical skills\nKnowledge and experience in process analysis, process optimization and process documentation.\nAbility to quickly pick up new tools and technologies.\nAbility to effectively move forward on tasks even with ambiguous or changing requirements.\nPrevious involvement with data mapping exercises or participation in large scale data reconciliation activities\nHighly organised and used to adapting to regular changes in priority, keeping senior members of the team informed of any impact on their tasks/projects and ensuring all deadlines are kept to.\nEssential: Advanced knowledge and experience of MS Excel\nEssential: Experience with data analyses.\nPreferred: Experience with Customer-Billing - Preferred: Finance qualification\n\n
