Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our team in San Francisco, California, on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing billing operations for a high volume of campaigns, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This hybrid position requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee billing for approximately 120 campaigns per month, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Generate, maintain, and share detailed billing reports for managerial review and approval.
• Perform billing calculations using advanced Excel functions, including macros, pivot tables, and formulas.
• Communicate regularly with campaign managers and external agencies to confirm billable amounts and maintain budget compliance.
• Reconcile invoices and campaign data with internal records to ensure consistency.
• Support the integration of data from legacy billing systems into new internal tools.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to streamline billing workflows and increase efficiency.
• Provide additional support during high-volume periods, including acquisition-related ramp-ups.
• Collaborate closely with the Billing Manager, Director, and other team members to meet organizational goals. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in macros, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Highly organized with a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.
• Prior experience in billing, accounting, finance, or digital advertising billing is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or Great Plains is a plus.
• Comfortable working with customized billing systems and shared drives.
• Ability to adapt to hybrid work environments, with onsite presence required three days per week.
