Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support operations in Syosset, New York. This is a Contract-to-Permanent opportunity, offering a hybrid work schedule with flexibility for remote work. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in billing systems and computerized processes to ensure accurate and efficient invoicing. Responsibilities: • Generate and process invoices using specialized billing software. • Review and verify billing data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Address client inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies promptly. • Maintain organized records of billing activities and transactions. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing workflows and improve efficiency. • Prepare regular billing reports for management review. • Utilize computerized systems to automate and enhance billing operations. • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in all billing activities. • Assist in the implementation of new billing procedures and updates as needed. • Provide support during audits by compiling and presenting required billing documentation. Requirements • Proven experience in billing functions. • Proficiency with computerized billing systems and related software. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data accurately. • Excellent communication skills for addressing client and team inquiries. • Organizational skills to maintain thorough and accessible billing records. • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in billing processes. • Ability to adapt to new procedures and technologies effectively. • Experience with hybrid or remote work environments is a plus.
