Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. As part of the financial services department, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for clients. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in billing operations and financial systems. Responsibilities: • Review billing request forms submitted by various offices to ensure completeness and accuracy. • Analyze complex engagement letters to extract billing parameters and relevant information. • Run and query standard reports from Oracle Cloud, exporting data into Excel for further analysis. • Draft and refine billing correspondence and documentation, ensuring clarity and professionalism. • Collaborate with staff to verify the accuracy of billing details and resolve discrepancies. • Communicate with clients and team members to address inquiries and resolve billing-related issues. • Maintain and update the billing log database, ensuring all client invoices are accurately recorded. • Support various ad hoc projects related to the billing process as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in client billing and revenue recognition processes. • Proficiency in Oracle Cloud for financial reporting and data management. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis. • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex billing tasks. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions. • Ability to work effectively in an office environment and meet deadlines. • Prior experience in financial services or a related field is preferred.
