Description We are looking for a highly organized Billing Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth billing operations, accurate documentation, and effective communication with clients and internal teams. Responsibilities: • Prepare and distribute banking details, tax forms, and invoices to clients in a timely manner. • Generate detailed reports, including usage summaries and account updates, for internal and external review. • Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Maintain accurate records and process financial data using Excel spreadsheets. • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve items in the billing queue. • Support billing collections by following up with clients and ensuring payment timelines are met. • Utilize Salesforce to manage and track client billing information efficiently. • Contribute to the improvement of billing systems and processes for greater efficiency. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or accounting is advantageous. • Prior experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar financial roles is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management and reporting. • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus. • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions. • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
