Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Irving, Texas, for a long-term contract position. In this role, you will handle essential billing tasks, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the efficient operation of a busy office environment. Responsibilities: • Reconcile delivery records to ensure accurate invoicing and maintain organized financial documentation. • Manage and track data using Microsoft Access databases and Excel spreadsheets, utilizing tools such as pivot tables and v-lookups. • Perform data entry tasks with precision, including 10-key typing at a speed of 7,200 keystrokes per hour. • Maintain a high level of reliability and organization to support the team's overall effectiveness. • Work in a general office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and consistent focus on tasks. • Collaborate with team members to ensure billing processes are completed accurately and on time. • Use Microsoft Excel extensively to analyze and report data. • Adapt to various tasks as needed to support billing operations and maintain smooth workflows. Requirements • Proven experience in billing or a related administrative role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables and v-lookups. • Strong data entry skills, with a minimum speed of 7,200 keystrokes per hour. • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities. • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. • Comfortable working in an office setting with extended periods of sitting. • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all billing processes. • Reliable and motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
