Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk in Belmont, New Hampshire, on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in managing billing activities and ensuring accurate financial records for our construction operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a collaborative team. Responsibilities: • Enter and process billing data with accuracy and efficiency. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are complete and correct. • Utilize pre-built Excel spreadsheets for various billing tasks and reporting. • Support billing operations across multiple locations, including Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. • Maintain organized records of billing statements and collections. • Collaborate with team members to assist in high-volume billing activities. • Adapt to software systems used in the construction industry to streamline billing processes. • Contribute to a team-oriented environment by providing consistent support and communication. • Address and resolve billing discrepancies promptly. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in billing or a related role. • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. • Familiarity with basic Excel functions, including working with pre-built spreadsheets. • Prior experience in account reconciliation is preferred. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume setting. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Willingness to learn and adapt to specialized industry software. • Experience in the construction or contractor industry is a plus.
