Description We are looking for a meticulous and adaptable Billing Clerk to join a team on a long-term contract basis in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This position involves managing billing processes across multiple facilities, requiring a strong ability to multitask and handle varying workloads. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses exceptional organizational skills. Responsibilities: • Process billing transactions for multiple facilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures. • Adapt to varying billing methods used by different plants, maintaining consistency and efficiency. • Handle high-volume billing days effectively, while assisting with cash receipts and reconciliations during lighter workloads. • Maintain detailed records and documentation to support accurate invoicing and reporting. • Utilize company-specific billing systems with the support of provided guidelines and resources. • Collaborate closely with the supervisor to address questions and resolve issues promptly. • Monitor and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Ensure all billing activities align with company policies and financial standards.
