Description A growing company located in North Houston is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Billing Clerk on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with both numbers and people. Key Responsibilities + Prepare, process, and send customer invoices in a timely manner + Update and maintain customer files with accurate billing information + Communicate with clients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies + Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Sales, Operations) to verify billing accuracy + Maintain client billing systems and run associated reports as needed + Reconcile account discrepancies and escalate issues as appropriate + Monitor and ensure timely invoicing for all designated accounts per KPI standards + Provide support to accounts receivable processes when required + Reach out to Operations Managers, General Managers, or Account Managers to resolve issues + Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Billing Manager Requirements Qualifications + 2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, or a related accounting support role + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Strong customer service focus + Ability to work independently and in a team setting + Prior experience in logistics billing is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
