Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining financial records for our automotive industry client. Responsibilities: • Process and review billing transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including reconciling discrepancies. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes. • Generate invoices and ensure timely distribution to clients. • Prepare and analyze billing reports to track performance metrics and identify trends. • Apply advanced Excel formulas to streamline data management and reporting. • Maintain organized records of billing activities and ensure data integrity. • Support month-end closing activities by providing necessary billing documentation. • Respond promptly to inquiries related to billing and payment discrepancies. Requirements • Proven experience in billing operations, preferably in the automotive industry. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with formulas and data analysis. • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial tasks. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
