Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Milwaukie, Oregon. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate invoicing, tracking payments, and resolving billing discrepancies. Responsibilities: • Prepare and issue invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance with service agreements and third-party billing systems. • Address billing discrepancies by investigating issues and resolving disputes efficiently with clients, consultants, or internal teams. • Monitor and track payments, applying funds to the correct invoices and following up on overdue accounts. • Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and ensure billing practices align with regulatory compliance requirements. • Collaborate with account managers and sales teams to manage contract terms, rate structures, and fee-related matters. • Communicate effectively with other departments to meet processing timelines and uphold high standards of accuracy. • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely and relevant billing information to both internal and external stakeholders. • Perform additional clerical or administrative tasks as required to support billing operations. Requirements • Proven experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable processes. • Familiarity with third-party billing systems and practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial documentation. • Excellent communication skills for resolving billing issues and coordinating with team members. • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of compliance regulations related to billing processes is a plus.
