Description We are looking for a Billing Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role is a great opportunity for individuals seeking to gain valuable experience in billing and finance, with no prior experience required as training will be provided. The position offers a hybrid schedule, combining in-office work with flexibility for remote days. Responsibilities: • Prepare and generate billing documents using Excel spreadsheets. • Ensure accuracy by reviewing and verifying billing data before submission. • Maintain organized records of billing information and financial transactions. • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve billing discrepancies. • Assist in improving billing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Respond to inquiries related to billing in a clear and thorough manner. • Perform data entry tasks with a focus on precision and attention to detail. • Adapt to a dynamic work environment while maintaining productivity. • Support additional administrative tasks as needed to assist the billing team. Requirements • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform simple functions. • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new processes. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Reliable and detail-oriented work ethic. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and adapting to changing priorities. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
