Description We are looking for a skilled Billing Specialist to join a dynamic and detail-oriented services team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in accounts receivable and billing processes who are eager to contribute to a stable and growing organization. The position offers flexibility with remote work options three days per week and includes a competitive benefits package. Responsibilities: • Manage billing activities to ensure timely and accurate invoicing for clients. • Perform accounts receivable functions, including tracking, reporting, and resolving discrepancies. • Utilize financial software, such as Aderant and Costpoint, to process invoices and maintain records. • Communicate with customers to address inquiries or issues related to billing and payments. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency. • Monitor account balances and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection. • Export and analyze customer service data to support billing operations. • Generate regular financial reports to provide insights on billing and accounts receivable performance. • Assist with implementing improvements to billing systems and workflows. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all billing activities. Requirements • A minimum of 1 year of experience in billing or accounts receivable. • Proficiency in billing functions and familiarity with software such as Aderant and Costpoint. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal. • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Experience in customer service related to billing inquiries. • Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
