Job Description: Billing Analyst, Finance OperationsAbout the RoleJLL is seeking an experienced Billing Analyst to join our Finance Operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes while working collaboratively across multiple teams to optimize financial operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead initiatives that enhance billing efficiency and accuracy. The role will be fully remote.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, validation, and distribution to clients across multiple service linesAnalyze billing data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and recommend process improvementsReview and validate contract terms to ensure billing compliance and accuracyCoordinate with account teams, property managers, and other stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries and disputesLead special billing projects and process improvement initiativesCollaborate with AR teams to support collections and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)Maintain comprehensive documentation of billing procedures and processesProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on billing best practicesGenerate and distribute regular billing reports to management and stakeholdersSupport month-end and quarter-end financial close processes related to billingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related financial operationsExperience leading teams or projects strongly preferredProven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and functionsStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of real estate or professional services billing practices is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageCareer development and advancement opportunitiesCollaborative and inclusive work environmentOpportunity to work with diverse teams across the JLL global networkProfessional growth through continuous learning and development programsJLL is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all.
Estimated total compensation for this position:
60,000.00 – 80,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
