Bill Of Material Engineer

Our Taneytown, MD Pump Manufacturing facility is over 150,000 square feet and provides capability for engineering, design, customer service, machining, assembly, and testing for a diverse product portfolio, which serves all markets (power, oil & gas, water resources, general industry, and chemical).  The facility has expanded four times since opening in 1971 to accommodate revenue growth and product line developments.  The entire project lifecycle is experienced all under the same roof.

Role Summary:

The primary function of this position is order processing, starting from creating Bill of Material (BOM) for each order/creating new design drawings and managing support from Supply Chain to Operations through to the shipment.

Responsibilities:

Technical coordination with Project Management and Supply Chain to drive On-Time-Performance (OTP)Reduce the cost of poor quality with our internal and external customers on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) ordersProvide technical support to departmental team members as well as to team members across the order process chainMitigate issues related to new equipment, sometimes within a very tight timeline, for OperationsPartner closely with an international group of team members as well as work autonomously at times to support the identified products

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering fieldAbility to successfully work in a team-oriented and Continuous Improvement environmentDemonstrated problem-solving capabilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven organizational skills including precise attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, even where conflicting priorities may existStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Solid WorksEnglish language proficiency

The pay range for this position is $83,858 - $ 104,852 USD Annual depending on experience
