Description We are looking for a Bilingual Spanish/English Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting policyholders and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to handle various customer inquiries effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to policyholders by addressing inquiries related to insurance products, claims, and billing issues.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to support customers considering policy cancellations by explaining product benefits and resolving concerns.
• Process premium payments, including current and past-due collections, and manage related administrative tasks.
• Accurately input and update customer information using multiple software applications.
• Deliver clear instructions and set expectations for policyholders to enhance their understanding of available services.
• Consistently meet or exceed departmental performance metrics, such as call handling time, quality standards, and after-call work.
• Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and provide constructive feedback to leadership.
• Exhibit professionalism and align with organizational values, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support team operations and objectives. Requirements • High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex customer service or claim-related issues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in customer service, data entry, and utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Comfortable working with inbound and outbound calls and handling sensitive customer interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate data management.
• Willingness to work various shifts as needed to meet operational requirements.
