Description
We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. As part of a mission-driven nonprofit organization, you will play a vital role in connecting individuals to essential services and resources through our call center. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community while advancing your growth.
Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly and courteously to inbound inquiries, offering accurate information, referrals, or assistance.
• Document all interactions thoroughly and efficiently using web-based systems.
• Stay informed about available services, resources, and programs to provide up-to-date support.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to address and resolve client needs effectively.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in all communications, maintaining a positive and empathetic approach.
• Utilize CRM and other systems to track and manage client interactions.
• Assist customers with billing inquiries and benefit-related functions.
• Navigate and operate various software platforms, including Epic, Avaya CMS, and ADP systems, to support client needs.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and procedures during all interactions.
Requirements • Associate’s degree or higher preferred; equivalent experience combined with additional education beyond high school will be considered.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a call center environment is highly desirable.
• Background in social sciences such as public health, social work, psychology, sociology, or criminology is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly.
• High proficiency in computer programs, including web-based systems, chat platforms, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and other tools such as Epic Software and Avaya CMS.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
