Beacon Hill is a proud partner to a reputable Manfuacturer in Chicago. We are currently hiring a Bilingual Payroll / HR Generalist.
Responsibilities/Duties
The responsibilities of the Bilingual Payroll / HR Generalist are, but are not limited to:
Payroll Administration
Coordinate, audit, and edit payroll reports, ensuring accuracy of hours worked and non-worked time (vacation, personal, sick).
Process weekly payroll by entering time sheets and importing data from timekeeping systems.
Calculate and track deductions including benefits, garnishments, and wage assignments.
Submit payroll figures electronically to payroll service providers.
Maintain payroll-related reports such as 401(k) contributions and insurance premium summaries.
Distribute paychecks, including mailing checks to employees on leave.
Review weekly punches with management and make necessary adjustments before payroll processing.
Issue bi-weekly punch reports for department manager approval.
Follow up on adjustment orders and special payment requests.
Employee Records & HR Support
Create, maintain, and update employee records for both hourly and salaried staff, including payroll details and vacation accruals/usage.
Support employee onboarding, including system setup and initial paperwork.
Order and maintain office supplies.
Coordinate company events and employee engagement activities.
Requirements
Previous experience in payroll, HR, or related administrative roles.Strong knowledge of payroll systems, timekeeping, and compliance practices.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal). 1429703_1757451612 To Apply for this Job Click Here
