Plan Member Administration is looking for a dynamic, positive, high-performing individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced, flexible, supportive and team-focused environment.
Reporting to the Manager-PMA, the Member Setup Specialist is responsible for managing eligibility data for traditional Corporate client implementations and facilitating eligibility requirements for Corporate amendments within Plan Member Administration.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as a key liaison for Plan Member Administration concerning Traditional Corporate New Issue implementations; attend meetings both internally and with clients; gather, receive, compare and audit client eligibility data to create and upload data electronically.
Manage ongoing eligibility data during the warranty period; creation and implementation of electronic eligibility files with the client or through regular emails and spreadsheets from the client.
Manage ongoing amendments for traditional Corporate clients; reviewing specific changes and determining the correct action to be taken, and updating the eligibility data as required.
Confidently load and report on member data on various administrative systems.
Provide expertise on related systems and procedures, file specifications and manual updating.
Provide technical and administrative support to other departments as needed.
Participate in troubleshooting and problem analysis in resolving client issues.
Manage dedicated client caseloads with the ability to organize and prioritize in order to ensure a high level of customer service at all times while meeting tight deadlines
Liaise with the IS team on data/system issues and provide testing support
Required Qualifications:
Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
Post-secondary degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience in a technical role; preferably related to review and/or manipulation of large data files.
Proven experience with MS Office, with an intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Excel.
Customer service experience, with a high aptitude for relationship building – internally and with clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with Group Benefits and associated products is an asset.
