Bilingual Medical Scribe

Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Bilingual Medical Scribe performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. At Conviva, we’re seeking innovative people who want to make positive changes in their lives, the lives of our patients, and the healthcare industry. **The Role** The Scribe decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation. The Scribe will assist and document on all patients seen daily. + Ensuring uncompromised patient care by transcribing fast and accurately, as well as performing thorough editing. + Typing out the full forms of medical abbreviations and acronyms, as well as the formal versions of medical jargon. + Identifying and following up on inconsistencies, errors, and missing information within a transcribed report. + Submitting transcriptions to healthcare professionals for their approval in a timely manner. + Performing additional tasks such as following up and revising patient history, as well as entering medical reports into electronic health records systems. + Protecting patient confidentiality and adhering to legal requirements. + Receive patients, schedule appointments, and maintain patient records + Work with transcription equipment that can include speech recognition equipment, word processing, and computer software + Create templates and enter data into electronic health record (EHR) systems for updated record keeping and archives + Performing clerical and administrative tasks as necessary, including mail, phone calls, scheduling, submitting insurance claims, and operating common office machines. + Recording patient medical histories, physical examinations, test results, diagnoses, and treatment plans in digital audio files + Providing customer service to physicians, nurses, other healthcare professionals, and patients through email, telephone, or face-to-face meetings **Benefits** We offer tangible and intangible benefits such as medical, dental and vision benefits, 401k with matching, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and sick time, paid holidays, work-life balance, growth, a positive culture and much mor **Use your skills to make an impact** **Required Qualifications** + At least one year of experience as a Medical Scribe + 2 years of Microsoft Office technical experience with Word, Outlook, and Excel + Administrative support experience in a healthcare industry + Familiarity with care and well-being resources + Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences **Preferred Qualifications** + Associate's Degree or higher + Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills + Microsoft Access proficiency **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 **Pay Range** The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $38,000 - $45,800 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
