General Summary: Works as an integral part of the Human Resources Department aiding associates in HR related matters. Works closely with Distribution Center Managers to ensure records and pay rates are correctly applied and maintained.

Compensation range: $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience

Essential Job Functions:Ability to speak SpanishAssist Human Resource manager and departmentAssist in recruiting and hiring - including creating job postings, review candidates, conduct background checks, create new hire packets, conduct reference checks, create new associate files, assist in new hire orientation Ensure all guests sign-in and issue appropriate guest passAssist in event planningData entry for Human Resource Department (Lawson) including entering new hires, update associate information, resolve badge problems, maintain employee action noticesPayroll (KRONOS) including audits, assist in resolving payroll problems, overtime reportsMaintain weekly/monthly/period statistics for the distribution centerAssist in associate evaluation tracking and distributionAssist in attendance tracking, maintain attendance records, track personal time, tardies, and other attendance issues for associatesAct as administrative back up for General Managers administrative assistantAll other miscellaneous duties as assigned by managementQualifications/Basic Job Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferredSkill to perform simple repetitive or routine tasks, operate general office equipment including computer and Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Previous Human Resource experience preferred.Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressureMust be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
