Description We are looking for a dedicated Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team on a Contract basis in Deltona, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the front desk. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to patient care in a healthcare environment while collaborating with a dynamic and supportive team.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients upon arrival and ensure they are assisted promptly, maintaining a wait time of no more than 10 minutes.
• Facilitate patient intake processes, including copying and organizing required documentation.
• Coordinate and process patient referrals to specialty services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and complete daily administrative reports, including incomplete tasks and no-show reports, in accordance with office protocols.
• Scan and file all correspondence and documentation in an organized and timely manner.
• Sort and distribute incoming faxes to the appropriate staff members.
• Handle high volumes of inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• Support the team with additional administrative tasks and responsibilities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with office procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering a positive experience for patients and their families. Requirements • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience, including data entry and administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology is required.
• Strong ability to organize and file materials accurately using alphabetic or numeric systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on professionalism.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly with Medicare Advantage plans, is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required. TalentMatch®
