Quel rôle jouerez-vous ?

Analyse les informations relatives au crédit et aux risques, telles que : les rapports de solvabilité (consommateurs et commerciaux), l’évaluation du modèle économique par le site web, les conditions générales, les accords juridiques entre clients directs et indirects, les états financiers (historiques et projections), les inspections de sites, les relevés de traitement, les vérifications d’antécédents, les différentes licences et outils de gestion des risques tiers pour la connaissance du client (KYC), les documents juridiques (LexisNexis, Pacer), les informations sur les systèmes de cartes (informations sur les dossiers négatifs), les rapports sur les risques liés aux livraisons futures des clients, etc. Rend une décision de crédit pour les transactions de petite à moyenne complexité et les demandes d’approbation, de refus ou de suspension de la transaction. Exploite d’autres sources de données telles que le site de la FTC et d’autres agences gouvernementales compétentes (fédérales et étatiques), les domaines publics, les réseaux sociaux, etc.

Qualifications minimales


Au moins 4 ans d’expérience pertinente en finance/comptabilité ou à un poste similaire sont généralement requis, dont au moins 2 ans d’expérience en tant qu’analyste crédit.

Qualifications souhaitées

Summary of This Role

Analyzes credit data and financial information to determine potential risk and to be able to make informed credit decisions for deals or applications while ensuring adherence to general credit goals and strategy.  Reviews portfolios to ensure quality assurance standards are being maintained while identifying and quantifying risk to mitigate exposure on all deals and clients.  Prepares detailed credit analyses as needed for upper management regarding credit approvals.  Explains decision and terms of approval thoroughly.  Adheres to the financial plan and to the service level agreement productivity and efficiency levels.

What Part Will You Play?

Analyzes credit and risk information, such as: credit reports (both consumer and commercial), website assessment of business model, terms and conditions, legal agreements between direct and indirect customers, financial statements (historical and projections), site inspections, processing statements, background checks, various licenses and third party risk tools for Know Your Customer (KYC) purposes, legal filings (LexisNexis, Pacer), Card Scheme information (negative file info), customer’s future delivery risk reporting, etc. Renders a credit decision for small to moderately complex deals and applications to approve, decline or pend the deal. Utilizes other data sources such as FTC site, and other relevant government agencies (federal and state), public domains, social media, etc.

Identifies, quantifies and mitigates risk exposure on all deals using credit policy framework, risk models, risk tables and assumptions, business terms and conditions, and relevant financial information.

“Sells” the credit decision to the prospect, channel partner, sales representative and/or relationship manager after structuring the deal terms. Explains the decision and terms of approval, which may include moderately complex negotiations for reserves, collateral and other forms of security and/or protection such as funding delay, periodic financial disclosure, guarantees, letters of credit, etc.

Begins to assist in the formulation and enforcement of credit policies and procedures, including risk acceptance criteria, sponsor bank policies, Card Scheme rules and regulations, and TSYS corporate policies.  May also perform various operational audits, risk assessments and post mortems (forensic loss reviews) to ensure and validate compliance to policies.

Prepares detailed credit analysis (executive approval/credit memos) for routing to and review by upper management so that second signatures and concurrences can be obtained. May present the explanation of the credit analysis and justification for the recommendations.

Typically conducts due diligence on portfolios to be converted and/or to be acquired, identifying high risk accounts for structuring and/or accounts to be excluded from the deal.

Begins to serve as a resource for less experienced credit analysts. May review and provide feedback of other's work product.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?Minimum QualificationsTypically minimum 4 years relevant experience in finance/accounting or similar position required, including a minimum of 2 years experience as a Credit Analyst.

Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Business; a major which emphasizes mathematical and analytical skills.
