Responsibilities Provide courteous, prompt and professional service to customers over the phone with the goal of resolving customer questions and concerns with first contact resolutionWork with peers and management to ensure that customer concerns are addressed in the most efficient mannerFollow up with customers to identify and support their needsOffer value-added solutions and promote customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer supportProvide best-in-class customer service on very sensitive insurance claimsExplanation of claims process to clientsCorrespond with the insured clients employers, and/or physicians if necessaryMaintain up to date knowledge of new policies, procedures and productsProcess routine clerical transactions in between callsCommunication with TGI’s partners and credit card companies with respect to payments on client accountsParticipate in customer retention initiatives Qualifications Previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment requiredProfessional phone etiquette and empathy for sensitive circumstancesUtmost discretion with confidential customer informationExcellent data entry and keyboarding skills.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Bilingual language skills (English & French) are an assetStrong attention to detail.Superior organizational, and multi-tasking skills.Strong analytical and decision making skills.Strong desire to take ownership and accountability of task completion.Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and AccessAbility to work effectively with and without supervisionExperience in the insurance industry is an assetHigh School or Equivalent is required1 to 2 years in a claims processing role would be an asset Why Transglobal A flexible and comprehensive benefits package, including Health, Dental and Paramedical Services for you and your familyCompetitive remuneration package that will commensurate with experienceCareer progression potential with plenty of access to ongoing personal and professional developmentEmployee discountsA dynamic environment to showcase your leadership talents.
