Job Description
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Customer Outreach team in the Ft Lauderdale/Broward area. This role involves supporting the Storm Secure Underground Program by connecting with service customers, explaining the program, and obtaining necessary documents and signatures for utility easements to facilitate project closure.
ResponsibilitiesUtilize own vehicle for driving responsibilities.Contact property owners to discuss project details and proposed equipment placement.Explain the Storm Secure Underground Program to service customers.Obtain customer agreement to proceed with the project and secure necessary signatures for easements and acknowledgment forms.Maintain ongoing communication with property owners and occupants throughout all project stages, adhering to company policies and procedures.Organize and submit documents electronically to the support team.Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong communication skills.Professionally communicate in person, over the phone, and via email with customers, staff, and vendors.Read and comprehend construction and engineering plans.Coordinate special projects as assigned.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsSales experience, particularly in the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County area.Door-to-Door Customer Field experience.Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Customer support and inside sales skills.Community outreach and data entry capabilities.Ability to engage in small talk and communicate with strangers.Additional Skills & QualificationsEntry-level position.Sales/Field/Door-to-Door experience required.Must reside in the Miami/Dade area.Valid driver's license and ability to pass Drug Test, Background, and Motor Vehicle Record checks.Ability to drive local and long distances regularly.Ability to lift 25 pounds.Prior utility experience is a plus.Work Environment
This position primarily involves fieldwork in the Miami area using personal vehicles, with mileage reimbursement provided. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 11am-7pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed. No overtime is offered. The dress code includes jeans or nice pants and steel-toe boots. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as shirts and vests are provided. A company phone will be issued, though personal phones may be used temporarily.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
