Job Description: A national law firm specializing in government debt collection is seeking a Bilingual Collector to join their team! This role will have a direct impact by helping collect delinquent accounts. The ideal candidate will utilize their strong communication skills to locate and monitor overdue accounts, notify customers of delinquent balances, and work with them to arrange repayment schedules. Responsibilities:Locate and monitor overdue accountsNotify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephoneConfer with customers about their accounts and advise strategies for debt repaymentHelp customers make arrangements for debt repayment or establish repayment schedulesMaintain email correspondence and follow up on voicemails
Qualifications and Requirements:Must be bilingual (Spanish and English) fluentStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and Internet ExplorerAbility to work under pressureStrong time management and negotiation skills
