Bike Technician
Position Summary

As a Bike Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service by ensuring every bike is safe, tuned, and ready to ride. You’ll use your mechanical skills and product knowledge to perform repairs, build new bikes, and educate customers on maintenance and gear.

Key Responsibilities Assemble, tune, and repair bicycles to manufacturer specifications. Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the service area. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and offering maintenance tips. Stay current on product knowledge, tools, and repair techniques. Assist with inventory management and ordering of bike parts and tools. Support store events and community rides as needed. Qualifications Previous experience as a bike mechanic or technician preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with a wide range of bike brands, components, and tools. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and repair methods.
  A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
