Bids and Tender Specialist
Job Description

Consolidate and report on Bids and Tenders (B&T) operational and workflow tool metrics: Narratives, emerging trends, local legislative changes, and key needs:Acts as part of the Sales team and supports Field Sales staffPartners with SPS team based in IndiaManage the timely and accurate submission of all bids and tenders through designated platforms or channels.Consistently report for B&T metrics for performance and qualityDocument trends and their impact on win-rateTrack emerging trends in B&T priorities of customersBuild better competitive intelligenceImproves utilisation of key tools and platforms for the Bids & Tenders. e.g.BTTT (Bids and tenders tracking tool)- maintains a comprehensive tender management system and database , tracking status of active and pending bidsMaintains and refreshes country SharePoint and Teams channelFunction as a key champion of SCEC Central B&T team with the Sales communitySupport core sales stakeholders in best practice initiatives, EODB, process and operational improvements as well as relevant audit remediation.Collaborate with key B&T stakeholders in country (Sales, Contracts, Finance, Legal, Coc, Compliance, GT, WWCQ etc)Ensure business operations continue to follow Agilent’s uncompromising legal and ethical standardsFunction as the primary point of contact for all tender-related communications, both internal and externalSolves a broad range of system and/or workflow problems of varying scope and complexity

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tender Identification and Analysis: Proactively identify relevant tender opportunities from various sources (e.g., Govt portals, industry specific platforms, client requests, subscriptions)

Lead the end-to-end bid and tender process, especially for government PPS

     Communicate with customers and PPS to clarify tender specifications, manage inquiries, and ensure mutual understanding of bid requirements and timelines.

•            Liaise with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, legal, technical teams) to gather necessary information and inputs for bid preparation. Summarize key tender requirements and disseminate information to relevant internal stakeholders.

•            Develop, write, and edit high-quality proposals and tender responses that meet customer requirements and comply with company policies.

•            Monitor and manage bid timelines to ensure all deadlines are met.

•            Assess and mitigate risks related to commercial, legal, or operational aspects of the bid.

•            Maintain and update a database of past tenders, templates, and best practices to improve future submissions.

•            Support pricing strategy development in collaboration with the sales teams.

•            Conduct post-bid reviews and gather feedback to improve the tendering process continuously and report

•            Serve as the main point of contact for tender-related inquiries

Reporting and Analysis:Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on tender activities, including submission rates, win/loss ratios, reasons for success/failure, and market trends. Analyse tender outcomes to identify areas for improvement in our bidding strategies and processes.Qualifications

.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, technical specialist or a related field.

5+ years of proven experience in B&T management, preferably within the Scientific instruments, consumables, life sciences, medical devices, or a related technical industry. Highly preferable for government PPS tender management experience.

Knowledge of public sector procurement processes (preferred for government tenders).

Demonstrable experience in successfully preparing and submitting complex tenders

Strong understanding of procurement processes and legal frameworks related to tendering.

Excellent written and verbal Korean communication skills(English proficiency is an advantage) with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and experience with tender portals/e-procurement platforms.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Takes Initiative and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced business environment.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
