Operating across various distinct product groups including commercial and business jet products, this role is an opportunity to join a team putting the finishing touches to our highly technical products. The manufacturing facility houses some of the most advanced machining technology in Europe such as a multi axis NDT robotic machine, automated material cutting machine and multi axis CNC machining centres. With an orderbook extending out into the next decade, we are looking for new colleagues to join our thriving company. **Key Responsibilities:** + Coordinate the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission and post-bid review. + Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and commercial teams to gather accurate cost and technical data. + Develop and maintain cost models for composite materials, tooling, labour, and production processes. + Ensure all bids are compliant with client requirements and internal governance and trade standards. + Support NPI initiatives to optimise cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or performance. + Maintain a library of historical bid data, pricing benchmarks, and lessons learned to inform future proposals. + Identify and assess risks associated with bids and incorporate appropriate contingencies. + Prepare and present bid documentation, including executive summaries, pricing schedules, and technical responses. + Track bid progress and maintain communication with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met. + Continuously improve bid processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and consistency. **Qualifications and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. + Proven track record in bid coordination, estimating, or commercial support roles. + Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating or ERP software is a plus. + Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines. **We offer a range of benefits that include:** + _Salary sacrifice-led pension plan that_ **_matches employee contributions up to 7%_** + _Employee Stock Purchase Plan_ + _Free life assurance cover at the value of four times basic annual salary_ + _25 days holiday per annum_ + _Holiday purchase scheme which enables employees to purchase an additional week’s worth of annual leave each year_ + _Internal reward and recognition scheme linked to internal benefits platform_ + _Employee Assistance Programme_ + _Comprehensive wellbeing programme that supports employees with their physical, mental and financial health, as well as their cultural/environmental wellbeing_ + _Competitive employee discounts platform that provides employees with discounts with leading brands/retailers_ + _Cycle to Work scheme_ + _Enhanced family-friendly benefits_ + _Company sick pay_ + _Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee that supports and champions employee diversity_ At Teledyne, we believe that Equality, Diversity and Inclusion mean Opportunity – the opportunity to cherish and celebrate the value of diversity, to bring our full and authentic selves to work and to feel fully involved and respected – and we are committed to this journey.
