CTG is seeking to fill a BI Developer (Application Developer – Microsoft Analytics) opening for our client in Houston, TX. Location: Houston, TX Duration: 12 months Duties: Design, develop, and implement business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools. Build and optimize dashboards, reports, and visualizations with Power BI, Power BI Report Builder (Paginated), Power BI Embedded Services, and SSRS. Develop complex queries and transformations using Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across BI solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective BI solutions. Optimize performance, usability, testability, and standardization of BI applications. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft BI tools including Power BI, SSRS, and Power BI Embedded. Strong SQL Server programming skills. Advanced knowledge of Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL. Ability to design secure and scalable BI solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Experience: Proven experience as a BI Developer or Application Developer working with Microsoft BI platforms. Demonstrated experience in building enterprise-level reports, dashboards, and data models. Hands-on experience with BI solution optimization and security implementation. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
